As the VP of Global Strategic Solutions Digital Twins at NV5 Geospatial, Ron Chapple works with clients around the world, and leads a team of talented professionals who acquire, process, and analyze high-resolution lidar and imaging data to create digital twins for various industries and applications.

Felix Audirac graduated with honors from the ITESM in Computer Systems Engineering and has a master's in Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology from the University of Waterloo, Canada. He made his first airborne photogrammetric mission as a camera man with his grandfather at the age of 7 onboard the XB-BIC, which is still a part of the CartoData fleet. He developed the first version of eMapas for the National Forestry Council in 2001. He became CEO of CartoData in 2016, and has since focused his efforts on democratizing the geospatial information generated by CartoData using exponential technologies such as cloud computing, professional aerial surveys, mobile devices, drones, nanosatellites, artificial intelligence and blockchain.
Matt Bethel

Matt Bethel has been in the remote sensing business since 1997. He is the current ASPRS Lidar Division Director and actively contributes to promoting improvements in the lidar industry on behalf of ASPRS. His credentials include Certified Photogrammetrist (CP) and GIS Professional (GISP). He coauthored the Lidar Best Practices Addendum to the ASPRS Positional Accuracy Standards for Digital Geospatial Data Edition 2, Version 2 (2024). Matt is Director of Operations and Technology for Merrick & Company. His expertise includes multi-sensor systems engineering covering design, integration, testing, maintenance, and operations.

Mobiltech
Jason Kim, CEO of Mobiltech, brings a wealth of expertise in autonomous driving, mobile mapping, and digital twin technologies. Holding a B.S. and Ph.D. candidacy in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Yonsei University, Jaeseung's research has focused on 3D LiDAR mapping, sensor fusion, and SLAM. He has led Mobiltech's innovations in high-precision digital twin solutions, advancing spatial information technology to support smart cities and autonomous driving.

Scott Merritt has been with Surdex, a Bowman Company for 31 years. He is an ASPRS Certified Photogrammetrist and has a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. Scott has held many positions in operations and sales, providing valuable experience to guide the development of innovative solutions. This has been a cycle of integrating the latest advancements in remote sensing to build foundational geospatial products like ortho imagery and lidar. Scott produced the first year of NAIP ortho imagery in 2002 using commercial software. Over the past 22 years on NAIP Surdex has developed a highly automated system to process both frame and line imagery using best of breed in-house, open source and commercial software. This same approach to automation has been applied to lidar under the 3DEP program and all other lines of business.
Jochen Nowotny

Track Machines Connected (tmc)
Jochen Nowotny is CEO of Track Machines Connected (tmc), an Austrian company of more than 100 experts developing digital solutions to monitor and optimize railway infrastructure. Jochen is also CEO of Rail Track Analyzer, a German company using Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) technology to assess track beds KPIs and improve maintenance decisions. Previously, he led global teams at Kapsch CarrierCom, managing large-scale GSM-R network projects. Jochen holds a Computer Science diploma and an MBA.

Soumya Misra is the Co-Founder & CEO of Sisir Radar, with a BTech and MTech from IIT Kanpur. His career spans key roles at Intel, Creo, and Hike, where he led smartphone design for a Sequoia-funded startup. Recognized as one of India’s top 50 mobile phone designers by the Government of India, Soumya has deep expertise in hardware design, miniaturization and image processing. An avid tech innovator, he has authored several papers on nanoelectronics and enjoys exploring new frontiers in technology.
