Matt Bethel has been in the remote sensing business since 1997. He is the current ASPRS Lidar Division Director and actively contributes to promoting improvements in the lidar industry on behalf of ASPRS. His credentials include Certified Photogrammetrist (CP) and GIS Professional (GISP). He coauthored the Lidar Best Practices Addendum to the ASPRS Positional Accuracy Standards for Digital Geospatial Data Edition 2, Version 2 (2024). Matt is Director of Operations and Technology for Merrick & Company. His expertise includes multi-sensor systems engineering covering design, integration, testing, maintenance, and operations.

Jason Kim, CEO of Mobiltech, brings a wealth of expertise in autonomous driving, mobile mapping, and digital twin technologies. Holding a B.S. and Ph.D. candidacy in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Yonsei University, Jaeseung's research has focused on 3D LiDAR mapping, sensor fusion, and SLAM. He has led Mobiltech's innovations in high-precision digital twin solutions, advancing spatial information technology to support smart cities and autonomous driving.

Doug is a softcopy photogrammetry specialist and currently oversees many of the ABGPS/IMU, aerotriangulation and imagery processing with ADS100, DMC, RCD30, Phase One, Vexcel Eagle and Osprey, acquisition projects and control selection. Held a Security Clearance for 20 years. Hobbies include small home improvement projects, Sports, and fishing.

Scott Merritt has been with Surdex, a Bowman Company for 31 years. He is an ASPRS Certified Photogrammetrist and has a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. Scott has held many positions in operations and sales, providing valuable experience to guide the development of innovative solutions. This has been a cycle of integrating the latest advancements in remote sensing to build foundational geospatial products like ortho imagery and lidar. Over the past 22 years on NAIP Surdex has developed a highly automated system to process both frame and line imagery using best of breed in-house, open source and commercial software.

Soumya Misra is the Co-Founder & CEO of Sisir Radar, with a BTech and MTech from IIT Kanpur. His career spans key roles at Intel, Creo, and Hike, where he led smartphone design for a Sequoia-funded startup. Recognized as one of India’s top 50 mobile phone designers by the Government of India, Soumya has deep expertise in hardware design, miniaturization and image processing. An avid tech innovator, he has authored several papers on nanoelectronics and enjoys exploring new frontiers in technology.
