Applanix POS MV
Accurately georeferenced hydrographic survey data is essential for maritime navigation, marine construction, dredging, offshore oil exploration and many more activities. Hydrographic surveys performed with the Applanix POS MV produce high accuracy for all survey types, including along shorelines, in harbours, and open seas.
Applanix POS MV (Position and Orientation System for Marine Vehicles) blends GNSS data with angular rate and acceleration data from an IMU and heading from GNSS Azimuth Measurement System (GAMS) to produce a robust and accurate full six degrees of freedom position and orientation solution.
